This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies and similar technologies iSplit uses on our web app, why we use them, and how you can manage your choices. Read it together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we process your personal data.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow the site to remember you between requests — for example, that you are logged in or which language you selected. Besides classic cookies, we also use similar local-storage technologies (localStorage) in the browser to keep your session status.
Categories of cookies we use
Essential cookies
These cookies are needed for the core service to work — login, security and saving your settings. Without them the site cannot function properly, so we do not ask for consent for them.
Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how the app is used — which pages are visited and where users run into problems — so we can improve the service. They are set only if you give consent via the cookie bar.
Marketing cookies
We currently do not use marketing or advertising cookies and do not share data with ad networks. If that changes, we will first update this policy and ask for your consent.

Additionally, in the browser's local storage (localStorage) we keep login tokens and app settings. These are not cookies in the classic sense and are not sent to the server with every request, but they serve the same, essential purpose — to keep the app functional.
Third-party cookies
For certain features we use external services that may set their own cookies or similar technologies:
- Firebase (Google) — for phone number verification and push notifications. See the Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google) — за аналитика на користење, поставена само по дадена согласност.
- OpenStreetMap / Leaflet and OSRM — for displaying maps and calculating routes. These services do not set marketing cookies.
How to manage cookies
When you first visit the app, we show you a consent bar where you can accept or decline analytics cookies. Essential cookies always stay active because the service does not work without them. We record your choice and you can change it at any time via the same bar.
You can also delete or block cookies directly in your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies may disable login and other core functions. All popular browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) offer cookie-management instructions in their privacy settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any change will be published on this page with an updated date. If we introduce a new cookie category, we will again ask for your consent via the bar.
