Terms of Service

Овие Услови за користење ("Услови") го уредуваат користењето на апликацијата и веб-платформата iSplit ("iSplit", "Услугата", "ние", "нас"), со која управува . Со креирање сметка или со користење на Услугата, потврдувате дека сте ги прочитале, разбрале и прифатиле овие Услови. Ако не се согласувате, не ја користете Услугата.

1. Scope of the service

iSplit is an intermediary (brokerage) technology platform that connects passengers with independent taxi drivers in Skopje and its surroundings. iSplit is NOT a carrier, does not operate vehicles and does not employ drivers. The transport contract is concluded directly between the passenger and the independent driver; iSplit only facilitates that connection, the display of the price and communication.

Drivers are independent operators responsible for their own licenses, insurance, vehicle roadworthiness and tax obligations. iSplit is not a party to the transport contract and assumes no liability for the performance of the ride itself.

2. Eligibility for use

Passengers must be at least 16 years old to use an iSplit account. Users under 16 are not allowed to register.
Drivers must meet all legal requirements for carrying out passenger transport: .
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
An account is personal and may not be transferred or shared with third parties.

3. Account rules and suspension

Registration requires a valid phone number, verified through Firebase authentication.
You are responsible for the security of your account and for any activity carried out through it.
We have the right to suspend or permanently close an account if these Terms are violated, or if fraud, false information, abuse or a risk to the safety of other users is established.
You can request the closure of your account at any time. Certain data may be retained even after closure due to legal obligations and dispute resolution, as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Passenger conduct

You must be present at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time.
You are required to treat the driver and other passengers with respect and to comply with traffic rules and safety instructions.
Cancelling a ride after a driver has been assigned, as well as a no-show, may incur a cancellation fee according to the applicable policy: .
Using the Service for unlawful purposes, harassment, threats, or attempts to manipulate prices, ratings or the dispatch system is prohibited.

5. Prices and payment

The ride price is shown in the app before you confirm your request. By confirming, you agree to pay the displayed price.
Transport to and from Skopje Airport (SKP) has a fixed price: 25 EUR from the city of Skopje to the Airport and 28 EUR from the Airport to the city, with no hidden costs.
For a shared ride, the price is split among passengers with a similar destination according to the calculation method shown in the app at the time of booking.
The general fare applies to all other rides: .
Payment is made directly between the passenger and the driver in the manner specified in the app. Prices are expressed in Macedonian denars (МКД), except for the fixed airport prices, which are in euros (EUR).

6. Refunds and disputes

Since payment for the ride takes place directly between the passenger and the independent driver, a refund for a completed ride is a matter between those two parties. iSplit may mediate within reasonable limits to help resolve a dispute, but does not guarantee a refund and is not a party to the financial transaction.

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or have a complaint about a ride, contact us within a reasonable time through the support channels listed in the app. We will review the complaint in good faith.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iSplit's total liability to you, on any basis related to the Service, is limited to: .

In particular, iSplit is not liable for:

The conduct, actions or omissions of drivers or passengers.
Delays, deviations from the route or interruptions in the service.
Loss of or damage to personal property during the ride.
Any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be legally excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for other rights guaranteed to you by the mandatory laws of the Republic of North Macedonia.

8. Force majeure

iSplit is not liable for non-performance or delayed performance of obligations if caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, weather conditions, power or internet outages, acts of government authorities, strikes or pandemics.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any express or implied warranties, including warranties of continuity, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or availability at all times. We do not guarantee that a driver will always be available or that the Service will be error-free.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia, regardless of conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Dispute resolution

The parties will strive to resolve any dispute amicably. If this is not possible, the courts in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, have jurisdiction to resolve disputes arising from these Terms.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms. For substantial changes we will notify you at least 30 days before they take effect, through the app or in another reasonable manner. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be void or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which remain in full force.

14. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the other policies referenced therein, constitute the entire agreement between you and iSplit regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements on the same subject.
