TIDZ Tetovo is a technological-industrial development zone on the A2 motorway, a few kilometres east of the city, home to several manufacturing plants run by international investors. Our private transfer takes you straight from Skopje to the gate of the specific plant in the zone, and back, at a price that depends on the vehicle: up to 3 passengers by car, 4-8 by van.
The drive to the zone
The drive follows the A2 motorway west, the same route as for Tetovo itself, with an exit a few kilometres short of the city. The car goes straight to the gate of the plant you're visiting, with no detour through central Tetovo or a bus station - useful when the meeting is early and you don't want to lose time in city traffic. You're on site in ≈ 45 min.
About TIDZ Tetovo
The zone was set up as a public-private partnership between the state and the Norwegian investment group Normak, and its longer-established and newly announced tenants include automotive-parts maker Lear Corporation and Kiel, both with publicly announced investments running into several million euros and hundreds of new jobs. The zone sits in the Polog region, close to Tetovo's railway station, and operates under the same tax-incentive regime as the country's other technological-industrial development zones.
Who travels here
